This notice is written in plain language for practical transparency. Applicable privacy law still governs.
Information the site may process
The website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as browser/device information, approximate location derived from an IP address, requested pages, and security logs, according to Squarespace’s own privacy terms.
The custom album page does not currently load Google Analytics or another optional analytics service. If optional analytics are added later, this notice and the consent controls will be updated before those tools are activated.
The custom player does not ask for a name, account, rating, or playlist. It does not create a public listener profile.
Strictly necessary storage
The page may save one local consent record so it can remember the visitor’s privacy choice. That record contains the consent-version number, whether optional music-player settings were allowed, and the date of the choice. It remains on the visitor’s device until the choice is changed or site data is cleared. The custom player does not transmit this record to Jenna.
Optional music-player settings
When the visitor allows this category, the player may remember volume, mute state, shuffle mode, repeat mode, and the last selected track in browser local storage. These values remain on the visitor’s device until they are changed, cleared, or disabled through Cookie settings. The album remains fully playable when this category is declined.
Cookies and choices
The custom chooser separates strictly necessary storage from optional music-player settings. Optional settings are off on a first visit until the visitor actively enables the switch and saves the choice. Closing the panel records a necessary-only choice, and the choice can be changed later from the footer.
This custom chooser controls only storage created by the album player. Squarespace may use its own necessary hosting or security technologies outside the player’s control.
Social and support links
The page links to third-party services including Instagram, Twitch, Ko-fi, YouTube, Bluesky, TikTok, Throne, and Booking. Opening one of those links moves the visitor to that service, whose privacy practices apply there.
Retention
The custom consent record and any allowed player preferences stay on the visitor’s device until changed or cleared. No custom analytics information is currently retained by this release.
